Karlad lake

Karlad Lake is a freshwater lake located near Tariode in Wayanad district and is the third largest freshwater lake in Kerala. The distance from Kalpatta is about 12 km. After traveling about three kilometers from Banasura Sagar Dam, you can reach the Karlad Lake. This is an adventure lake where we can go to the other side on a zip line over the lake. Similarly, rafting, Kayaking and boating are the main activities here.While there are many zip lines in Wayanad, the zip line at Karlad Lake is a different experience. The entry fee here is thirty rupees per person Entry is from 9 am to 5 pm

The zip line over the lake is a major attraction. There is also a system that takes people from one side of the lake to the other side of the lake and back by boat. The charge for zip line is 300 rupees and for kayaking is 230 rupees. Here there are pedal boat and normal boat, the charge for pedal boat is 200 rupees for 2 persons, 350 rupees for 4 persons and 500 rupees for normal boat. Similarly, where there is rafting, the charge is Rs 500. There is a small park for children on the bank of the lake. The charge for the tend house on the bank of the lake is 1500 rupees and the morning meal is available from there
